What is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business?

For a veteran who suffers a disability while in military service, the US Government has deemed it its moral obligation to provide the disabled veteran a range of benefits designed to ease the economic and other losses and disadvantages incurred as a consequence of the disability. For a business to be classified "Service-Disabled Veteran Owned" it must be at least 51% owned by an individual who can be considered by the government as a Service-Disabled Veteran. With respect to disability, that such disability must be incurred or aggravated in line of duty in the active military, naval, or air service.

History

VET4U, LLC. is a New York based, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) established in 2009 as a government contractor in the construction space. Since 2009, the company has completed numerous projects for the Veteran’s Administration and other customers with great success and has achieved high ratings from the government in all categories.

In 2015, with recommendations from our contacts at the Veterans Administration, VET4U, LLC decided to enter the pharmaceutical and medical supply business. In 2017 we received our first Wholesale Distributor license in the State of Florida.
